Hungry and tired – worst combination for me… it’s a complicated feeling if you want to eat or to sleep then you will end up HANGRY (hungry + angry). Walking mindlessly along Creek Road, I saw Bombay Star Juice Center and decided to have a chaat. I ordered my comfort food, Dahi Batata Puri. Unfortunately it was not as comforting as expected. There was no taste at all. I think the chaat guy made it without any spiciness at all. I should have told him to make it how he usually makes it.
Unsatisfied, I ordered another dish. I asked the server what is their best seller sandwich. He recommended Mushroom Paneer Cheese Grill. He asked me if I want it spicy or not, I said spicy. When it arrived, the sandwich has three decks of grilled white bread with mushroom, scheszwuan paneer, tomato, onion, capsicum and cheese. The vegetables used are fresh, I can feel the crunchiness of the capsicum and juiciness of the tomato. The mushroom gives that “meat” feeling to it. The sandwich is spicy because of the paneer marinated in scheszwuan sauce but the cheese mellows it a little bit not altering the taste but adding more flavor to it. I enjoyed it so much I ate it really fast then I noticed that there is a strand of hair on my plate. I just hope it was my eyebrows or my lashes. 🙁
