Mini Punjab is the restaurant that serves the best Pani Puri. You will know immediately without tasting it. They are the only chaat place in the same street that has a queue. They have memorized how spicy and sweet my pani should be. Every time I am at Burdubai, I will surely pay a visit at Mini Punjab to have chaat. Now, they are serving my new favorite Indian dessert… Rabri.
As discussed in my previous post about Rabri, only mothers or grandmothers have the patience to cook this gratifying dessert from heaven. It is mainly made of milk and sugar, but the process of making it is what makes it special.
Mini Punjab’s Rabri is thick in consistency compared to the first Rabri I had. It has a similar consistency to a creamy mashed potato. The taste is like fleshy condensed milk. Mini Punjab’s Rabri was too sweet for me. It is delicious, but it is something that you cannot finish by yourself if you are like me that refrains from eating foods that are too sweet because of Tonsillitis. As always, price is very reasonable. For AED 5.00 your sweet tooth will surely be satisfied. I am rating Mini Punjab 3.5/5
