Sonamu is a mix of Korean and Chinese cuisine at Asiana Hotel. It is included in the Grand Buffet of 3 restaurants for AED 155.00.
You will be greeted by layers of dumplings and a chef that carves the Peking duck. Walking further inside the restaurant, be ready to be amazed by its amazing interior that is also a mix of Korean and Chinese. You will also see some pasta and stir fry dishes. On the left, is a counter with a line of unique and interesting salads. Inside the counter they have a live cooking station of Korean Food.
I had the Salmon Gravlax, a piece of each dumpling and a Peking duck wrap. All the dumplings were tasty, but nothing exemplary. The Salmon Gravlax was awesome. Thinly sliced salmon with a sprinkle of salt, sugar, pepper and herbs. Simple yet elegant. The Peking Duck wrap was to die for. It is sweet, salty, and fatty. I would like to have another wrap but I have another restaurant to check out so I controlled myself.
