Wasl Hub is a fairly new place in Karama bustling with new restaurants. It is like a pocket-friendly City Walk. We were in the area and we’re looking for a new veg thali place to try (and parking), we saw Sri Aiswariya Vegetarian Restaurant. The interior is so green you will not miss it. We ordered both the North Indian and South Indian Thali.
The difference of this thali among other thalis I have tried is its served in a banana leaf. North Indian Thali as pictured above is AED 18.00, while the below picture South Indian Thali is AED 16.00. I asked my friend why is North Indian Thali more expensive than the South when the latter has more food in it, he said it might be because the North Indian Thali is more difficult to prepare than the South Indian Thali. I noticed that the South is brothy and North has thicker curries. My friend had the South Indian Thali and I had the North Indian Thali. We both like the latter more since we enjoy eating thali with chapatti or roti instead of rice.
For me it was okay. Its something I will not crave for, maybe their other dishes are better. What can you recommend?
